For over 50 years, Gallup research has been using the science of strengths to prove that people succeed when they focus on what they do best. When they identify their talents and develop them into strengths, people are more productive, perform better, and are more engaged.
Did you know that people who use their strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged on the job? Teams that focus on their strengths are 12.5% more productive (Gallup, 2014).
Using Gallup’s strengths solutions, individuals learn the values of their personal strengths and become more engaged, more productive, and happier team members.
What you can expect:
Ultimately my job is to coach you and the people you lead to discover their strengths, and lead with purpose which improves organizational performance. But along the way, you will find that the StrengthsFinder Workshop goes beyond your expectation of workplace performance. It drives dialogue, collaboration, and unity among team members and shows value and dignity by honoring the strengths and talents of each individual. It is an amazing and eye-opening experience!
5 Steps to a successful StengthsFinder Workshop
Step 1: Find a minimum of 4 hours or preferably a work day you can set aside for your team to invest in leadership development and team building.
Step 2: Connect with me to check availability and assess team needs.
Step 3: Block out 4 hours for the StrengthsFinder Half-Day Workshop. I am happy to give you ideas for the rest of your day or help facilitate it at an additional cost. Once we have arrived on a date, I will provide an invitation for your team with StrengthsFinder assessment info and other imperative details.
Step 4: Gallup’s Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment is the first step in helping people identify their talents. Clifton StrengthsFinder results give people a way to discuss and develop their unique combination of skills, talents, and knowledge — also known as strengths. This online assessment is taken by team members (that includes you) prior to the StrengthsFinder Workshop. There are two options for this assessment which I will help advice you on after accessing your team needs.
Step 5: The day of your team workshop has arrived. This is day for you to enjoy with your team! Your workshop will be designed with a high level of energy, respect, and experiential exercises that are promised to foster dialogue and integrate skills into behavior. You can sit back and relax!
One-on-One Leadership Coaching
What is coaching?
Our chief want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
What is coaching? Is it counseling, mentoring, or consulting? These are questions I get when I tell people I am a leadership coach.
There are two different kinds of coaching I would like to define. Executive coaching and life coaching.
Executive coaching is an effective business tool used in the workplace to clarify roles, increase effectiveness, and build unity of mission and productivity among teams. Executive coaching can offer powerful keys to unlocking potential and innovation for individuals and teams whether a coach is contracted for a short or long period of time.
Life coaching is defined by expert coach and author Tony Stolzfus as a tool that helps people discover their purpose and align their lives to it.
There is nothing that excites me more than to see people realize their destiny. Every person is born with a spark that burns deep in their soul just waiting to be ignited. Coaching provides the opportunity to ignite that fire through empowering questions, new self-awareness, goal-setting, encouragement, and accountability.
Have you heard of the Gap Theory? The “gap” is the space between where you are now and where you want to be. A leadership coach is a professional that can help you set goals that will move you out of the place you are in and into the future you desire.
Here are some ways that coaching has personally affected my life:
1) Coaching has validated my calling and purpose in life.
2) Coaching has added time to my day and made me more productive by aligning my to-do list with my goals – eliminating irrelevant tasks.
3) Coaching has helped bring personal self-awareness of changes I need to make.
4) Coaching has helped me get unstuck and make tough decisions.
5) Coaching has taught me to honor my strengths and quit trying to fix my weaknesses.
6) Coaching has taught me how to build strong teams, honoring and respecting each individual for the unique gifts they contribute.
7) Coaching has given me an accountability system to achieve my goals and live out my purpose in life.
8) Coaching has taught me to dream.
In the book the Alchemist, Paulo Coelho wrote: “To realize one’s destiny is a person’s only real obligation.”
A professional coach is a person who can help you visualize the future and achieve the goals that will lead you to your destiny!
Coaching is recommended in 3, 6, and 12 month coaching sessions. Pricing discounts apply for 12 month packages.
